Natalie's documentary poster

I wanted to keep my poster simple leaving the imagery to create the most impact on the viewer, i managed this by using as little text as possible. I used for my main image a picture of Barnsley's town hall a prominant feature within Barnsley, to create a shock value i photoshopped the BNP flag onto the top of the building. As this building is the town hall it represents the community of Barnsley as a whole, by placing the flag on top gives the impression that all of Barnsley support the BNP, this gives an insight into what the documentary will be about. For the title i have used the well recognised BNP logo which includes the union jack flag. Underneath this i have placed the title 'Barnsley's New Party' i have used red and blue colours to represent the BNP, changing the colour for each first letter to show the acrostic feature. The only other thing i have included in this poster is the well known channel four logo to show what channel this will be shown on and the time, keeping this black so as not to distract the viewer from the main image.
